Although the traditional German rig is best suited to bottom baits or wafters, offering excellent hooking capabilities, you can also add a pop-up and fish it Ronnie style. The use of Jel-E-Wyre Stiff gives you a stiff boomed presentation — or if you prefer a softer boom, pick up the Ronnie Rig instead, which can also be fished German style. The best of both worlds.
