Returns & Refund Policy

At DrCarpys & NwBait Lab Limited, we want customers to shop with confidence. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return in accordance with the policy below.

1. Return Period

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you may request a return within 14 calendar days from the date your order is delivered.

Return requests must be submitted within this period.

2. Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following conditions:

  • Items must be unused
  • Items must be returned in original packaging where reasonably possible
  • Items must be in resalable condition
  • Proof of purchase must be provided

We reserve the right to reject returns if items are not in a condition suitable for resale.

3. Return Shipping Costs

Return shipping costs are normally the responsibility of the customer.

We may cover return costs if:

  • The item is faulty
  • The item was damaged in transit
  • An incorrect item was supplied due to our error

Where possible, customers are advised to use a tracked shipping service.

4. Refund Processing

Once a returned item is received and inspected:

  • You will be notified by email regarding the outcome
  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method
  • Refunds are typically processed within 10 working days

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

5. Exchanges

Exchanges are generally offered only for:

  • Defective items
  • Damaged goods received in transit

6. Perishable Goods and Exclusions

The following items may be excluded from return where permitted by law:

  • Bait and perishable consumable products
  • Personalised or custom-made items
  • Items not suitable for return once opened

9. Anti-Return Abuse & Fair Use Policy

We reserve the right to refuse returns, refunds, or exchanges where there is reasonable evidence of return policy abuse.

Examples of abuse may include, but are not limited to:

  • Repeated ordering and returning of products without reasonable cause
  • Returning items that have been used, damaged, or are not in resalable condition
  • Patterns of behaviour suggesting misuse of the returns system
  • Attempts to obtain goods for temporary use with intention to return them
  • Failure to follow return instructions provided by our customer service team

Where abuse is suspected, we may:

  • Refuse future orders
  • Reject return requests
  • Issue partial refunds where product value has been reduced due to handling or use

This clause does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer protection law.
